We were instantly calmed, after our long journey, by the warm welcome from Allison and David and nothing was too much trouble to improve our holiday. We've had a lovely relaxing break here in Songbirds and were very comfortable during our 5 days.

The bikes provided were a nice extra. The tracks around le Petit Chariot are a nice way to see the surrounding area with an odd stop to sample the bars.

Out of several visits to the Vendee this has by far been the best. The gite is perfectly placed to visit the coast and country and is equipped with everything needed. It is extremely comfortable and Allison and David have been wonderful hosts and have made us feel welcome and very much at home. Prince ‚ the gentle giant ‚ helped us feel even more welcome!

Have read books, cycled, walked, and eaten in some fine establishments. David and Allison are great hosts, there if you need them and not there if you don't. If you need to know something just ask ‚ they have great local knowledge. The bed is so comfortable. Thank you both, we will be back, love to Prince and Scally.
